In the dark world
My eyes Glance upon a light A hope A glimmer Amongst the Blackening shadows It’s curious form Beguiles me The luminescent orb Brings pain to my eyes Yet I cannot refrain From staring Colours flash Shapes emerge and Infiltrate my sight The darkness slowly leaves The light taking over Brighter it shines Till it fills my view Then I realise It was not that the world was dark But that my eyes were closed | ||
